Nova Sprite is a free pixel art editor that runs entirely in your browser. Draw pixel by pixel with layers and palettes, create animations with multiple frames, and export your work as sprite sheets or GIFs.

How to use it

Choose a canvas size and draw pixels with tools like the pen, eraser, and fill bucket. Add frames in the timeline to create animations, using onion skinning to see adjacent frames while you edit. Export finished work as a PNG (with a scale factor), a sprite sheet, or a GIF.

Your artwork and loaded files are never sent to a server — all processing happens entirely in your browser.
