Nova Tune is a free, browser-based music maker. Write notes on a piano roll and layer tracks with 7 built-in instruments including piano, bass, and drums. Loop playback, a metronome, and BPM control are built in.

How to use it

Pick a track in the list on the left, then click the piano roll to add notes — drag to move them, drag the right edge to resize, right-click to delete. The transport bar controls playback, looping, BPM, and the metronome; Shift+drag on the ruler sets the loop range. The File menu saves and loads projects and exports your song as a WAV file. Every edit supports undo and redo.

Your files are never sent to a server — all processing runs locally in your browser.
